Technical overview
The Rolatube Quick Deploy Mast (QDM) is the fastest tactical elevation solution on the market for antenna, camera, and sensor mounting points that cannot lose time in ground preparation. Unlike the System 50/75 which require a separate base, the QDM integrates the bi-stable CFRP mast with an anodized aluminum tripod into an autonomous system: remove from pouch, place on ground, and the mast deploys vertically by pressure in under 60 seconds. No tools, no loose parts, no risk of component loss during night operations.
The QDM tripod uses continuously adjustable legs with non-slip feet for uneven terrain — gravel, asphalt, tile, or vehicle surfaces. In the 9m option (QDM-9), the system includes optional guys for operation in wind conditions up to 60 km/h without ground anchoring. The tip load capacity covers omnidirectional VHF/UHF antennas, yagi directional antennas up to 3 kg, standard IP65 PTZ cameras, and Rajant BreadCrumb network nodes with PoE power supply.
The QDM family is compatible with the same mounting adapters as the System 50 and System 75, allowing the same antenna hardware inventory across the entire fleet. In squad operations, the QDM-4 goes in the communications specialist's pack and the QDM-9 in the tactical support vehicle — a single product family for all elevation roles in the unit.
