Tactical chest camera with edge artificial intelligence processor classifying in real time firearms, vehicles, and threat postures in the operator's field of view, generating automatic alerts to the team's ATAK group when a weapon is detected, storing evidence clips with classification metadata, and operating completely without connectivity in standalone mode for operations in networkless environments.

Mohoc AI Classifier Tactical Chest Camera with Edge AI for Real-Time Weapon Detection and Threat Classification with ATAK Alert
Technical specifications
Technical overview
The Mohoc AI Classifier is the tactical chest camera designed for the crowd control operator, SWAT team in arrest operation, or critical facility security personnel who needs automatic weapon detection in the field of view without the operator themselves being able to recognize the threat in real time — because they are managing other aspects of the incident, because the weapon is partially concealed, or because the speed of events exceeds human visual processing capacity.
The edge AI processor integrated in the camera runs three independent classification models at 15 FPS on the 1080p video from the front sensor: a firearm detection model trained on more than 2 million annotated images that classifies pistols, rifles, shotguns, and visible long weapons — including partially concealed weapons under clothing or in transition position — with detection accuracy above 91% and false positive rate below 3% in nighttime interior illumination conditions; a vehicle classification model differentiating between civilian vehicle, tactical vehicle, motorcycle, and emergency vehicle for unidentified vehicle approach alerts; and a human posture analysis model detecting combat position — weapon aiming, crouched firing position, flanking movement — differentiating it from neutral crowd postures.
When any of the models exceeds the configured confidence threshold (default 88%), the camera automatically generates a Bluetooth alert to the operator's ATAK device with the detected threat category, the operator's GPS coordinates at the moment of detection, and a 6-second video clip centered on the detection frame. The complete team receives the alert on their ATAK map simultaneously, providing the incident commander awareness of threats no team member has yet seen. All AI inference occurs in the camera processor without sending video to any external server.
