MOHOC IR Helmet Camera
Technical specifications
Technical overview
The MOHOC IR solves the problem of conventional helmet recording systems: GoPro and similar camera cylinders project 40-50 mm beyond the helmet, creating a profile that catches on vegetation, door frames, and vehicles during CQB and infiltration operations. MOHOC's aerodynamic design reduces the projection to less than 15 mm over the helmet surface — virtually undetectable by touch and with no impact on operator mobility.
The native IR mode is the key differentiator for forces operating with night vision goggles: the integrated IR illumination LEDs allow recording at 1080p in complete darkness, synchronized with the operator's NVG. Recordings are viewable in real time by the unit commander through the tactical data network, creating a distributed situational awareness system without additional hardware. IP68 protection and MIL-STD-810G certification make it operational in tactical submersion, heavy rain, and extreme temperatures.
