Technical overview
The MOHOC Elite Ops is the daytime complement to the MOHOC IR: same ultra-compact build with <15 mm profile over the helmet, but optimized for visible light recording at 4K UHD resolution. Where the IR is the nocturnal operations tool, the Elite Ops is the standard for daytime operations documentation, tactical training with motion analysis, and urban environment missions where image quality is critical for subsequent identification.
4K resolution with electronic image stabilization solves a practical problem with previous helmet cameras: vibration from running, breaching, or helicopter insertion produced unusable video for post-mission analysis. The Elite Ops electronically compensates for up to ±3° of angular vibration, delivering stabilized images usable as legal evidence or training material without post-processing.
Integrated WiFi 802.11ac enables real-time streaming to the command vehicle tactical data network or the deployed video management server. The commander views each operator's first-person perspective in real time, without the delays of separate video transmission systems. Mount compatibility with the MOHOC IR allows mixed units to operate with a single mount accessory type for both camera variants.
