INVISIO M60 Multi-Channel Headset System with Bone Conduction Microphone for High-Noise Industrial Environments

Technical overview
The INVISIO M60 is the multi-channel headset system designed for operators in high-noise industrial environments where conventional communication solutions fail in both directions: conventional boom or helmet microphones capture 100-120 dB SPL ambient noise alongside the operator's voice, making communication unintelligible to the receiver; and conventional hearing protection headsets block both harmful noise and radio communications, isolating the operator from their coordination network at the moment they need it most.
The bone conduction microphone integrated in the hearing unit captures skull bone vibrations generated by the user's voice — not ambient sound pressure waves — capturing the voice signal clearly even when ambient noise levels exceed 120 dB SPL (the level of a jet engine at 25 meters), without needing to bring the microphone close to the lips or press against the cheek, allowing the system to be used completely covered by a welding helmet visor, NBC suit face shield, or industrial safety mask.
The 35 dB active noise cancellation in the audio reception channel operates via external reference microphones that sample low-frequency machinery noise — 100-1000 Hz frequencies where most heavy machinery industrial noise concentrates — and generate the inverse cancellation signal, while the intelligent ambient amplification system maintains voice frequencies above the cancellation curve so the operator can hear nearby coworkers' voices through the system without removing hearing protection.
ATEX Zone 1 certification (II 2G Ex ib IIC T4 Gb) guarantees the system can operate in the presence of flammable gases — refineries, LPG storage plants, fuel depots — where the electrical energy of any equipment must be intrinsically limited to not exceed the ignition energy of the gas present, without modifying the system's communication characteristics.
