Technical overview
The INVISIO Communications Hub is the personal communications center designed for operators who need to simultaneously monitor and transmit on multiple radio networks — the unit command network, fire support network, and inter-agency coordination network — without needing additional radio carriers or switching equipment at the most critical moment of the operation.
The hub connects up to two military portable radios from any manufacturer (via U-94A or NEXUS TP-120 connector adapters) and one vehicle intercom system, integrating their audio signals into four independent listening channels that the operator receives simultaneously in their INVISIO headset. The audio mixer with individual volume configuration per channel — controllable with combat gloves via side adjustment wheels — allows the operator to balance the audio mix according to each network's priority without diverting attention from the mission.
The multi-source PTT control allows assigning up to three external physical PTT buttons (vest, weapon, free hand) to any combination of radio channels, including simultaneous transmission on two networks with a single PTT for coordination announcements on parallel networks. The integrated microSD voice recording function records all received and transmitted communications for post-mission debriefing and incident documentation.
