Galvion Parvus — Personal Power Management System for Future Soldier
Technical specifications
Technical overview
The Galvion Parvus is the personal power management system that resolves the battery weight problem in the modern soldier: a special forces operator with MBITR radio, ATAK tablet, Garmin GPS, DBAL IR illuminator, MOHOC camera, and biometric sensor carries between 2.5 and 4 kilos of primary batteries for a 72-hour operation. The Parvus replaces all individual batteries with a centralized power bus integrated in the vest.
The Parvus distribution bus has configurable outputs: 5VDC up to 3A, 12VDC up to 5A, and USB-C Power Delivery up to 100W. The Parvus charge manager applies configurable priority algorithms: in nominal operation mode it charges all devices simultaneously; in power conservation mode it prioritizes the communications radio and GPS over tablet and camera.
For Peruvian Army special forces units, Navy FOES teams, and PNP CUSE/DINOES groups conducting operations of more than 24 hours without access to electrical charging, the Parvus reduces battery weight by 30–45% compared to individual per-device battery solution.
