Galvion
Galvion Batlskin Caiman — Modular ballistic helmet
Technical specifications
Technical overview
The Batlskin Caiman is one of the helmets in Galvion's Batlskin family, a world leader in integrated soldier systems. Galvion (formerly Revision Military) designs and manufactures from the United States with key facilities in Canada and Poland. The Batlskin family includes multiple platforms (Caiman, Hellbender, Hellbender TE, Hellbender UL, Viper) covering mission profiles from conventional forces to weight-reduced special operations.
Modularity is the key differentiator: every helmet accepts standard accessories to integrate night vision (NVG rails), tactical communications (radios and headsets), mandible covers, and ballistic protective masks. This allows configuring the platform per mission profile without multiple helmet platforms. Complements with the E.D.G. (Energy, Data, Galvion) suite for combatant energy management with NVG + radio + designator + C4I — a modern connected soldier operates multiple electronic devices that require unified charging architecture.
Galvion is subject to EAR/ITAR for export to allied countries. Emar Systems handles the DDTC process for modernization programs of Peruvian Armed Forces and specialized PNP units.
