Galvion BATLSKIN Viper P4 — Modular High-Cut Ballistic Helmet
Technical specifications
Technical overview
The Galvion BATLSKIN Viper P4 is the reference high-cut ballistic helmet for special forces operators requiring NIJ Level IIIA ballistic protection combined with full compatibility with communications systems, night vision, and helmet-mounted sensors. The high-cut design frees the ears for mounting INVISIO, Peltor, or OTTO systems directly on the helmet without interference.
Galvion's SnS (Suspension and Retention System) is the Viper P4's central technical differentiator. Unlike conventional suspension harnesses that distribute impact over fixed points, the SnS uses a network of high-strength straps with zone-adjustable tension — frontal, occipital, and lateral — that allows customizing impact force distribution according to the operator's anatomy and the predominant threat type.
Integrated Picatinny side rails accept MOHOC Elite OPS action cameras, MAWL/DBAL-A2 IR illuminators, low-light cameras, and biometric sensors. The frontal NVG adapter is compatible with PVS-14, AN/PVS-31A, GPNVG-18, and the latest Generation IV systems, with 5-position tilt adjustment.
