Drones Latam GCS — Multi-Drone Ground Control Station for Coordinated ISR Operations
Technical specifications
Technical overview
The Drones Latam GCS is the ground control station for drone operators in military and security ISR missions who need to manage more than one drone simultaneously — a real need when covering a long perimeter, performing wide-area search, or executing an operation where a reconnaissance ISR drone and a visual support drone operate in parallel on the same objective. The GCS manages up to 8 drones simultaneously in a single map interface.
The GCS mission planning allows the operator to define waypoint routes for each drone before the mission, with airspace exclusion layers automatically applied to avoid conflicts with manned aircraft in the operating zones. During the mission, the operator can modify waypoints in real time, assign a drone to automatic tracking of a designated map target, or activate autonomous return to home for any individual drone without interrupting the rest of the fleet.
The GCS video link uses the RTSP protocol with AES-256 encryption over the integrated long-range radio system (15 km range in free space), transmitting all active sensor video — daytime EO, nighttime IR, or multispectral payload — to the GCS screen and simultaneously to ATAK tablets of authorized command post operators.
