Zetron MCC 7500 IP Dispatch Console for PSAP and National Emergency Coordination Centers

Technical overview
The Zetron MCC 7500 is the next-generation IP dispatch console designed for emergency coordination centers — from the PSAP (Public Safety Answering Point) of a regional capital to the National Emergency Operations Center — that need to integrate into a single workstation P25 trunking radio communications, traditional PSTN and VoIP telephony, inter-agency radio links with Police, Fire, and EMS, and satellite backup communications, without the failure of any single component leaving the dispatcher without access to any of those networks.
The console operates on a distributed IP architecture with N+1 redundancy: each critical function — P25 trunk network access, audio processing, telephone call management — is replicated on at least two independent servers in the PSAP infrastructure, so the failure of any server does not interrupt dispatcher operations for more than 200 milliseconds while the system automatically switches to backup servers without manual intervention. The 200 ms switchover time is imperceptible in active voice calls.
The 27-inch touch screen dispatch interface simultaneously displays up to 48 P25 trunking talk groups with real-time voice activity indicators, the incoming and outgoing telephone call panel, the 8-hour communications log with search by radio ID/IMSI, and the P25 system coverage map with patrol unit positions equipped with GPS integrated in the radios. All captured audio — radio, telephone, intercom — is automatically recorded in MP3 format with identification metadata (radio ID, talk group, channel, timestamp) in the integrated recording server with configurable retention of up to 90 days.
