Voice gateway converting analog radio circuits, E&M lines, and E1/T1 trunks to VoIP SIP/RTP for integration with IP dispatch infrastructure. Supports up to 64 simultaneous channels, SIP trunk to Zetron MAX-D and third-party dispatch consoles, PTT over IP (PoIP), and integrated recording.
Technical overview
The Zetron IP Gateway is the convergence bridge for organizations with legacy analog radio infrastructure — conventional FM repeaters, E&M backhaul links, E1 telephony trunks — that need to integrate it with a modern IP dispatch console without replacing existing radio infrastructure. The gateway converts legacy physical circuits into SIP/RTP sessions that the dispatch console treats as IP radio channels, preserving all tactical functionality over the organization's IP network.
Each of the up to 64 gateway channels can be independently configured: some can be 4-wire analog radio interfaces with E&M signaling, others E1/T1 trunk ports for TETRA or P25 systems, and others line audio channels for third-party console integration.
For Peru's regional emergency communications networks with analog radio infrastructure installed at remote sites — repeater towers in the highlands or jungle — that need to modernize the dispatch console without replacing the entire RF chain, the Zetron IP Gateway provides the gradual migration path.
