ISSI (Inter-RF Subsystem Interface) and CSSI (Console Subsystem Interface) gateway to interconnect P25 systems from different vendors (Motorola, Harris, Kenwood) into a unified network. Enables unit roaming between systems, inter-system group calls, and centralized dispatch.

Zetron P25 ISSI/CSSI Gateway — Heterogeneous P25 System Interconnection
Technical specifications
Technical overview
The Zetron P25 ISSI/CSSI Gateway solves the most critical problem of P25 radio networks in public safety agencies that grew through departments or mergers: multiple P25 systems from different vendors — Motorola Core, Harris BeOn, Kenwood NEXEDGE — that cannot communicate because they implement the P25 network layer in proprietary ways.
Via ISSI, radio units from any connected P25 system can automatically roam to the adjacent system when they move out of their coverage zone, and receive group calls that originated in the other system without manual action. Via CSSI, dispatch consoles connected to the gateway can control radios in any of the interconnected systems from a unified interface regardless of the destination system vendor.
For PNP, the Peruvian Army, or integrated emergency communications systems with P25 legacy infrastructure from different generations and vendors, the Zetron gateway allows unifying dispatch operations and coverage without the cost of replacing existing infrastructure.
