Technical overview
The Galvion Modular Vest is the Galvion tactical vest that integrates the latest ergonomic research in load distribution with the maximum operational modularity of the MOLLE system, designed for long-duration operations where carrier weight and fatigue are critical performance factors.
The Ultra-High-Molecular-Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) fiber body provides NIJ IIIA protection against pistol projectiles up to .44 Magnum at a weight of only 1.8 kg, significantly lighter than equivalent aramid vests. Front and rear plate pouches accept ceramic or polyethylene NIJ IV plates for additional rifle protection.
The Galvion Load Distribution System (LDS) with viscoelastic foam pads and quick-adjust straps distributes up to 12 kg of additional MOLLE equipment across shoulders, chest, sides, and back in a balanced manner, reducing fatigue in operations over 12 hours. The Galvion CONNECT Hub integrates natively in the rear channel of the vest.
