Eventide SIREN Server Mass Emergency Alerting Platform with Multi-Channel Activation for Control Centers
Technical specifications
Technical overview
The Eventide SIREN Server is the mass emergency alerting platform designed for emergency control centers that must simultaneously activate multiple notification channels — acoustic sirens, SMS messages, LTE Cell Broadcast, WEA alerts, building intercoms, public information displays — in the shortest possible time after declaring an emergency, and who need a complete forensic record of which channel was activated, when, by whom, and with what message, for the post-incident report and regulatory compliance audit.
The server integrates in a single dispatch interface the activation drivers for the main IP siren manufacturers — Federal Signal, Whelen, ATI — via CAP (Common Alerting Protocol, OASIS CAP 1.2) over TCP/IP, eliminating the need for separate activation consoles by siren manufacturer. The integrated Cell Broadcast module directly connects with the local mobile network operator's CBC (Cell Broadcast Center) platform to send georeferenced alerts — delimited by geographic polygon down to LTE cell level — without depending on mass SMS data network saturation during an emergency.
The activation forensic log stores each alert event with cesium GPS timestamp of ±50 ns precision, identifying operator who activated (fingerprint biometry if hardware supports it), original evacuation message audio recorded at that instant, list of activated channels with ACK confirmation from each IP siren, and any subsequent message changes or alert cancellations — generating a complete incident management file exportable in PDF/A format for judicial use.
