Technical overview
Eventide MediaWorks is the archive intelligence layer that converts the terabytes of recordings accumulated in NexLog DX and NexLog FX systems into an information asset searchable in seconds. It solves the fundamental problem in emergency dispatch centers and security agencies that have recorded communications for years: when a specific recording is needed for a prosecution, post-incident analysis, or disciplinary proceeding, manually searching audio archives takes hours or days — MediaWorks does it in seconds.
MediaWorks' search engine indexes each recording at import time from the NexLog: automatically transcribes audio to text using speech recognition adapted to Peruvian Spanish and emergency dispatch jargon, extracts call metadata, and combines them into a search index that responds to free-text queries — searchable by unit name, address, incident code, or any phrase the dispatcher spoke.
For Peru's Attorney General and criminal courts, MediaWorks provides recording exports with digital chain of custody (SHA-256 hash, origin metadata, exporter system signature) complying with digital evidence requirements of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
