Eventide
Eventide NexLog FX — Call Recording Platform with Call Analytics
Technical specifications
Technical overview
Eventide's NexLog FX is the communications recording platform for emergency dispatch centers where the speed of recovering a specific recording can determine the outcome of an investigation or compliance with a legal requirement. Unlike first-generation recording systems that store on tapes or disks in proprietary formats, the NexLog FX indexes every call in real time — speaker, time, channel, dialed number, duration, and audio level — and allows recovering and playing any call in less than 5 seconds without stopping dispatch center operations.
The NexLog FX's multi-channel architecture simultaneously records TDM telephone lines (analog and ISDN), VoIP trunks (SIP and H.323), conventional and trunked radio (TETRA, P25, DMR, Motorola SmartZone), and dispatch channels through the Zetron dispatch console or equivalents. This integration allows the center supervisor to have a unified record of all communications — regardless of channel type — in a single search and playback interface.
For Armed Forces dispatch centers, PNP, and emergency systems such as SAMU and Fire departments in Peru, the NexLog FX provides the recording required by Law 30299 (public security) and chain-of-custody protocols for prosecutorial investigations. Eventide certifies the NexLog FX as an admissible recording system in judicial proceedings in Peru under digital evidence standards.
