Eventide
NexLog DX High-Density Recorder
Technical specifications
Technical overview
The Eventide NexLog DX is the evolution of the Axiom for larger-scale installations: police dispatch centers with 50+ positions, national emergency coordination centers, or interconnected electrical system control centers where the 64-channel Axiom falls short of required capacity. With up to 240 simultaneous channels in a single 2U rack chassis, the NexLog DX eliminates the need for multiple recording servers and the time synchronization problems between them.
The NexLog DX redundancy architecture is designed for organizations where no recording can be lost: solid-state RAID-6 with double parity, real-time replication system to a secondary server, and power supply with two independent sources. If the primary server fails mid-operation, the secondary has a real-time mirror of all active recordings — no channel is lost even during failover. This specification meets APCO ANS 1.101.1 requirements for US emergency centers and MININTER guidelines for emergency service communications recording in Peru.
Integration with the existing Axiom is native: organizations with multiple installations can connect both systems in a unified management platform, with forensic search that traverses all servers simultaneously. The investigation operator searches by date, channel, or keyword once and retrieves recordings from any installation in the same interface, without needing to know which physical server stores each recording.
