Eventide
Eventide AI Transcription Real-Time Voice Analysis Engine for Emergency Dispatch Recordings with Keyword Alerts
Technical specifications
Technical overview
The Eventide AI Transcription is the artificial intelligence voice analysis module designed for 112 emergency dispatch centers and PSAPs that need to process the volume of dispatch communications — hundreds or thousands of calls daily — for quality supervision, regulatory compliance, and forensic investigation support without assigning a human supervisor to listen to recordings in real time.
The engine processes audio from radio and telephone channels of the Eventide NexLog DX or MediaLog IP recording system using speech recognition models trained specifically on Latin American Spanish emergency dispatch terminology and military radiophony — the vocabulary of codes, brevets, and radio phraseology that general-purpose transcription models do not correctly recognize. Speaker diarization automatically separates the dispatcher, caller, and radio operator voices in the same recording, assigning speaker labels and intervention times for call structure analysis and priority dispatch protocol compliance.
The configurable keyword alert system allows the PSAP supervisor to define trigger terms — weapons, suspect names, high-risk addresses, omitted protocol phrases — that generate real-time notifications to the supervisor without them having to actively monitor audio channels. When a keyword is detected in an active call, the system generates an instant alert with playback of the relevant fragment and 15 seconds of prior context. Call quality scoring automatically evaluates each communication against the center's protocol criteria — response time, correct code usage, address confirmation — and exports quality metrics to the PSAP performance management system in XML format compatible with APCO ANS 3.101 and NENA STA-010 standards.
