The Cohu PTZ Ultra is the high-performance perimeter surveillance camera for critical facilities requiring intruder identification at long distances with maximum quality imagery. Its Sony STARVIS 4K (8 MP) sensor with 40x optical zoom reaches facial identification distances at 300 m and vehicle identification at 600 m.

The extended operating temperature range of -50°C to +60°C and IP66 sealing enable deployments in Arctic, desert, or coastal environments with direct outdoor exposure. The marine-grade aluminum housing with anti-corrosion coating resists marine saline environments.

Native integration with the Cohu Nexus VMS enables automatic PTZ control from video analytics rules: if the system detects movement in zone A, the PTZ camera automatically points to and tracks the intruder. Preset patrol programs automatic tours through up to 256 positions.
