Cohu Nexus Analytics is the artificial intelligence module that integrates directly with Cohu Nexus cameras and VMS to add automatic analysis capabilities without requiring additional server infrastructure.

The engine processes up to 32 simultaneous streams with intrusion detection analysis, virtual line crossing, people counting, and license plate recognition (LPR) in real time with latency below 500 ms. Alerts are sent immediately to connected VMS and PSIM systems.

Analysis rules are configured per camera with exclusion zones, sensitivity thresholds, and schedules. Machine learning reduces false alarms in dynamic environments such as foliage, rain, and variable lighting.
