Rolatube Rapid Deploy 15m Roll-Up Rapid Deployment Mast for ISR and Tactical Communications
Technical specifications
Technical overview
The Rolatube Rapid Deploy 15m is the highest-height communications and ISR mast in the Rolatube roll-up mast range, designed for when the tactical situation requires elevating long-range cameras, high-gain radio antennas, or communications repeaters to the maximum possible height from a standing force position without mechanical means or excavation.
The unidirectional carbon fiber structure in circular cross-section roll-up tubes can be compressed into a transport tube 1.8 meters long and 12 cm in diameter with a total system weight (mast + base + mounting hardware) of only 6.5 kg, transportable by a single operator in an equipment bag. Full deployment to 15 meters height requires two people and less than 4 minutes without tools, using the progressive section extension technique characteristic of Rolatube roll-up masts.
The head platform accepts loads up to 12 kg with a 48 N·m overturning moment, sufficient to install a COHU long-range PTZ surveillance camera, a high-gain HF radio Yagi antenna, a Rajant IP radio repeater, or a combination of antenna and moderate-weight sensor. The four-point stabilizing guy wire system included in the base kit maintains mast stability at 15-meter heights in winds up to 50 km/h.
