Technical specifications
Technical overview
The Polo Marconi VHF Airborne is the airborne tactical communications radio designed for fixed and rotary wing aircraft of the armed forces. Implements the HAVE QUICK II anti-jamming protocol and voice encryption to ensure secure communications in electronic denial environments.
Operates in the aeronautical VHF-AM band (108–174 MHz) with AM, FM, and data modes. Cockpit remote control (front panel or ARINC 429) allows frequency adjustment without diverting pilot attention. DO-160G certification ensures electromagnetic compatibility in the aeronautical environment.
The model includes data output for linking with embedded navigation and C2 systems. Compatible with existing aircraft avionics in Peruvian Armed Forces inventory via interface adapters.
