Technical specifications
Technical overview
The Eventide MediaLog IP is the IP multimedia recording system designed specifically for emergency dispatch centers where legal and operational documentation of all communications — including analog radio, IP radio, conventional telephony, and TETRA networks — must be centralized, encrypted, and accessible for forensic investigation in under 30 seconds.
The system simultaneously records up to 96 channels from any combination of sources: P25/TETRA dispatch consoles, SIP trunks for VoIP, analog PSTN lines, conventional VHF/UHF radios, and mesh network IP radios. The recording interface accepts analog, digital, and SIP signals without additional codecs, simplifying integration in dispatch centers with multi-generation equipment.
The forensic search engine allows locating any communication in under 30 seconds by date/time, channel, keyword (automatic AI transcription), caller number, or duration. Configurable retention up to 365 days with redundant RAID-6 storage guarantees records are available for extended investigations. TLS 1.3 encrypted remote access with multi-factor authentication allows investigators and attorneys to securely review recordings from any location without physically accessing the center.
