Cohu
Cohu Fixed Thermal Perimeter Fixed Thermal Camera
Technical specifications
Technical overview
The Cohu Fixed Thermal is the long-term fixed thermal camera for critical infrastructure facilities requiring 24/7 perimeter surveillance without maintenance throughout the facility's operational life. The 640×512 uncooled LWIR sensor with NETD < 40 mK operates without moving mechanical parts, guaranteeing MTBF > 100,000 hours.
The fixed 25 mm optics provide a 24°×18° field of view with person detection at 800 m and identification at 300 m. The scratch-resistant germanium lens requires no periodic cleaning in dusty and sandy environments.
Embedded video analytics processing includes configurable zone motion detection, virtual line crossing, and perimeter alarm with weather-adaptive false alarm suppression. The ONVIF Profile T interface enables direct integration with any compatible VMS without additional configuration.
