Technical specifications
Technical overview
The Theon NOCTO 640 combines longwave infrared thermal imaging (LWIR) with image intensification (I2) in a compact binocular system that enables confident operation in total darkness and smoke or fog conditions.
The 640×480 LWIR thermal sensor provides high-definition images while the I2 channel adds texture detail and contrast. Digital fusion of both channels adjusts in real time to optimize operator perception.
Designed for NVG helmet mounting with interpupillary distance and individual diopter adjustment. Weighs only 680 g with batteries, minimizing fatigue in extended night operations.
