Site controller for P25 infrastructure managing up to 8 repeater channels and providing IP connection to the radio network backbone.
Technical overview
The Simoco SXP Site Controller is the infrastructure element that centralizes management of P25 repeaters at a communications site, providing the interface between RF hardware and the trunked network IP backbone.
Manages up to 8 Simoco SXP repeater channels at the same site, coordinating channel access, group management, and unit mobility between sites. IP connectivity to the master zone controller follows the ISSI/CSSI standard for interoperability with third-party P25 networks.
The controller includes automatic fault management with traffic rerouting in less than 100 ms on link loss. The web interface enables real-time monitoring of all channels, group management, and remote configuration without physical site access.
