Simoco SwiftLink 200 Portable P25 Rapid-Deployment Repeater for Temporary Tactical Coverage
Technical specifications
Technical overview
The Simoco SwiftLink 200 is the rapid-deployment portable P25 repeater designed for operational scenarios where the fixed trunk network does not reach and coverage extension is needed in minutes, not hours: the interior of a concrete building blocking the trunk network UHF signal, a valley or ravine creating a blind spot in fixed repeater coverage, or a temporary operations zone outside the system's planned coverage area.
The 1.8-kilogram unit integrates in a single anodized aluminum chassis: 10 W P25 Phase 1 and Phase 2 transceiver in UHF (380-512 MHz) or VHF (136-174 MHz) band factory-selectable, 8-hour continuous operation lithium-ion battery as active repeater, 3.5 dBi folding omnidirectional antenna that deploys vertically on the chassis, and external DC power connector for indefinite operation from the tactical vehicle or a 12V field source. Commissioning requires no field programming: the unit is pre-configured with system parameters (repeater ID, talk group, P25 WACN/SYSID, AES-256 encryption keys) and activated with a single power switch, being operational in under 2 minutes from removal from the transport bag.
The SwiftLink 200 coverage range in open field is 3 kilometer radius — sufficient to provide coverage for an infantry company in combat formation or the complete perimeter of a medium facility — with improved building penetration thanks to the high-sensitivity -120 dBm receiver design that maximizes the available 10 W output.
