Technical specifications
Technical overview
The Simoco SRM9060 is the P25 Phase 2 digital mobile radio designed specifically for police, firefighter, and SAMU first response vehicles, combining the 50-watt power needed for coverage in weak signal zones with an intuitive single-handed operator interface during driving.
The 5-inch TFT color display with adaptive backlighting is readable in direct sunlight through the vehicle windshield, showing active channel, call group, interlocutor ID, and signal status with high-visibility iconography. The quick-access emergency zone key automatically transmits the vehicle's GPS position to the command center when activated.
The integrated GPS receiver provides real-time positioning with 5-second updates for the dispatch center fleet tracking system. The ISSI selective call function allows direct unit-to-unit communication without going through the repeater, essential for operations in partial coverage zones. The integrated Bluetooth interface allows pairing with driver headsets for hands-free communications.
