Technical specifications
Technical overview
The Simoco SRG3900 is the high-power P25 Phase 2 TDMA digital repeater designed to build the trunk infrastructure of public safety radio networks, providing wide-area coverage with maximum spectral efficiency through the two-channel TDMA protocol in a single 12.5 kHz RF channel.
The configurable 5 to 50 watt output power allows adapting coverage to each repeater site without changing equipment, from urban fill-in repeaters to wide-area coverage stations in rural areas. The SNMP remote management system provides real-time telemetry of all operational parameters: output power, temperature, supply voltage, and traffic statistics.
The dual power supply design with automatic switching between AC mains and DC backup battery guarantees service continuity during power outages of up to 8 hours. The IP55 housing with forced ventilation allows outdoor installation in tropical climates without an additional cabinet, reducing site infrastructure costs.
