Morad Antenna wideband UHF vehicle antenna for tactical radios and mobile communications systems. Stainless steel construction, magnetic or bolt mount.
Morad Antenna
Morad UHF Broadband — Wideband Vehicle Antenna
Technical specifications
Technical overview
Morad Antenna's UHF vehicle antennas are designed for a specific ground operations problem: tactical and patrol vehicles require an antenna covering the complete UHF frequency range without retuning, from the 380 MHz band of public safety systems to the 512 MHz of conventional UHF range, including DMR Tier III systems at 400-450 MHz. A single broadband antenna eliminates the need to install multiple resonant antennas on the vehicle for each radio system.
Morad's stainless steel construction is the direct differentiator over fiberglass or aluminum antennas that degrade with intensive operational use: tactical vehicles operating in jungle, desert, or coast experience combinations of extreme temperature, salinity, constant vibration, and vegetation abrasion that destroy conventional materials within months. Morad's stainless has proven in decades of use on naval platforms — the most aggressive possible conditions — its resistance to these factors.
The magnetic mount model is especially valued in covert operations vehicles and rapid response units reusing civilian vehicles: the antenna installs in seconds on any flat metal surface without drilling the bodywork, enabling discrete deployment and removal. For permanent-use vehicles, the bolt-mount model provides greater retention strength for highway speeds and rough terrain conditions.
