MOHOC Halo Micro UAV Miniaturized Tactical Reconnaissance Quadcopter
Technical specifications
Technical overview
The MOHOC Halo Micro UAV is the miniaturized tactical reconnaissance quadcopter designed to give special forces teams, light infantry, and urban security units an organic aerial surveillance capability that fits in a uniform pocket and deploys in 45 seconds without specialized pilot training.
The dual-sensor system combines a 12-megapixel EO camera with 8x digital zoom for daytime visual reconnaissance and a 160x120 pixel long-wave infrared (LWIR) sensor for nighttime thermal detection, covering the full 24-hour cycle with a single platform. The AES-128 encrypted video link operates in the 2.4/5.8 GHz ISM band with 2 km range in urban environments, transmitting live video to the operator tablet while simultaneously recording to a 64 GB microSD card.
The total weight of 180 grams and folding arm design allow transporting the complete system (UAV + tablet + 2 batteries) in a 1.2-liter bag that fits in the top compartment of the tactical backpack. The 30-minute flight endurance per battery and 90-second battery swap time ensure continuous operation in long-duration missions.
