Juggernaut Defense RAM Mount Kit Vehicle Mounting System with Vibration Isolation for Tactical Tablets
Technical specifications
Technical overview
The Juggernaut Defense RAM Mount Kit is the vehicle mounting system designed for the use case where commercial mounting solutions invariably fail: the tactical vehicle on rough terrain that transmits accelerations of up to 8G on multiple simultaneous axes to the mounted command tablet — high-speed bumps, trench crossing, emergency braking — generating vibrations that in 4-8 hours of operation degrade LCD screen solder joints, disconnect internal connectors, or cause solid-state storage failures in the tablet.
The kit incorporates a triple-layer elastomeric vibration isolator between the RAM arm and the tablet holder, specifically designed to attenuate the vibration frequency spectrum of military vehicles on rough terrain (5-500 Hz) without sacrificing the rigidity necessary for the tablet to be readable while the vehicle is in motion — unlike generic soft isolators that reduce high-frequency vibrations but allow low-frequency oscillation that makes the screen unreadable at speeds above 30 km/h.
The mounting base includes interchangeable adapters for Picatinny 1913 rail (direct windshield or bulkhead mounting via installed weapon rail), M6/M8 vehicle frame thread, and flat surface with two-component structural adhesive. The double-articulation arm with adjustable friction ball joints allows positioning the tablet at any angle with one hand without tools, and locking it via the central wing nut with 15 N·m retention torque.
