Juggernaut Defense EEK — Extreme Environment Keyboard

Technical overview
Juggernaut Defense's EEK (Extreme Environment Keyboard) solves the most frequent failure point in tactical vehicle workstations: the keyboard. Commercial keyboards fail from unpaved road vibration, field operation dust, and rain or wash water exposure. An inoperative keyboard at a mobile command workstation forces the operator to stop the vehicle or work with the laptop touchscreen, reducing information processing speed at high operational demand moments.
The EEK uses the same CNC-machined billet aluminum construction as the rest of the Juggernaut line: no molded plastic, no structural failure points, no self-tapping screws. Keys are individual with mechanical actuation that maintains reliable tactile response after submersion, fine sand, and long-duration vibration. Three-color backlight (red for operator night vision preservation, green for normal operation, white for daytime use) is controlled by function key without additional software.
The compact 75% format (no numpad) frees console space for radio holder or AMPS tablet bracket. Direct USB Type-A connection works with any tactical laptop in the Getac, Panasonic Toughbook, or Dell XFR line without special drivers — the keyboard identifies as standard HID. For field intelligence and image analysis operations, the EEK enables fast report typing, coordinate coordination, and command entry on C2 and ArcGIS platforms.
