Juggernaut BattGrid Field Power Distribution Hub with Solar and LiFePO4 Battery for Simultaneous Charging of 8 Tactical Devices
Technical specifications
Technical overview
The Juggernaut BattGrid is the field power distribution hub designed for the forward command post or special operations team operating without access to the electrical grid — in the Andean highlands, the Amazon jungle, or during disaster response operations where electrical infrastructure has collapsed — that needs to simultaneously charge tactical Juggernaut S24 smartphones, ATAK tablets, VHF/UHF radios, Mohoc cameras, and reserve batteries for night vision systems without depending on fuel generators that require resupply logistics and reveal position through noise and heat.
The BattGrid integrates four independent input sources that the BMS power management system automatically selects and combines according to availability: photovoltaic solar panel up to 200W through the MPPT maximum power point tracking connector that optimizes solar charging even with partial irradiation from cloud cover; vehicle supply of 12V or 24/28V DC from the support vehicle battery through the integrated galvanic isolation DC-DC converter; shore power from 100 to 240 VAC/50-60 Hz when access to field generator or occasional electrical grid is available; and PD 3.1 input power transfer from an external high-power USB-C charger. The integrated 40 Ah LiFePO4 battery at 12.8V provides 512 Wh of usable capacity — enough to fully charge 8 tactical 5000 mAh smartphones three times, or keep an ATAK tablet operational for 20 hours with screen on.
Each of the 8 USB-C Power Delivery 3.1 100W output ports monitors the connected device's current consumption in real time with 10 mA resolution, allowing the logistics operator to identify devices with anomalous consumption due to battery failure and prioritize charging of mission-critical equipment over support equipment. The IP67 protection case with die-cut interior foam keeps all components protected against dust, rain, surface immersion, and transport impacts in off-road vehicles.
