INVISIO
X5 Tactical Headset
Technical specifications
Technical overview
The INVISIO X5 is the reference tactical headset for special operations forces and security units operating in high impulse noise environments. Unlike conventional passive headsets that simply attenuate the full audio spectrum, the X5 incorporates Active Hearing Protection (AHP) technology with dual ambient microphones that amplify conversational sound to normal levels while electronically suppressing detonation impulses in less than 1 millisecond — the wearer can hear team orders clearly while being fully protected during firing.
Connectivity via LP360 connector ensures compatibility with the full ecosystem of military radios without additional adapters. The modular design allows configuring the X5 as a single-channel (monaural) or binaural headset depending on the mission, and the flexible boom microphone retains its position at any angle. With 16+ hours of autonomy on a standard field AAA battery and full IP68 certification, the X5 is designed to operate without interruption during extended operations in any weather condition.
