INVISIO GS1 — Multi-Radio Tactical Communications Network Control Station
Technical specifications
Technical overview
The INVISIO GS1 is the command post-level network control station for commanders who need to supervise and direct communications from multiple sub-units equipped with INVISIO systems in the field. While individual INVISIO systems (X5, T7, V60) provide communications to the field operator, the GS1 provides the command post commander the ability to monitor all channels simultaneously, intervene on any net, redirect messages between networks, and record operations audio for post-mission analysis.
The GS1 integrates up to 8 physical radios of different technologies — tactical VHF, UHF, long-range HF, SATCOM — into a digital audio switching panel. The GS1 operator can listen to any combination of up to 4 channels simultaneously, inject microphone audio into any radio, or create audio bridges between two different networks in less than 2 seconds.
For the Peruvian Army's brigade and battalion command posts, PNP dispatch centers in special operations, and INDECI emergency response teams in disaster zones, the GS1 resolves the most critical bottleneck in tactical communications: commander saturation attempting to manually monitor multiple radios in complex operations.
