Fischer MiniMax — Sealed compact connector for instrumentation
Technical specifications
Technical overview
Fischer's MiniMax is the miniaturized version of the LP360 platform, designed for sensors, portable instrumentation, and field medical devices where the standard LP360 connector diameter is too large for product ergonomics. With an 8 mm face diameter (vs. 13 mm for the LP360), the MiniMax allows integrating sealed connectivity in ultra-compact devices without sacrificing the Fischer hallmarks: push-pull coupling with positive retention, 360° EMC shielding, and certified IP68.
In the defense ecosystem, the MiniMax appears in soldier biometric sensors (pulse, temperature, geolocation), field emergency medical devices (portable defibrillators, NIBP monitors), and special forces training wearables where the size of each component adds to the profile of the complete platform.
Platform compatibility with Fischer Connectors ensures an existing LP360 installation can integrate a MiniMax sensor using the appropriate adapter without electrical interface redesign — reducing integration time in tactical system upgrade projects.
