Drones Latam Fixed Wing Long-Range Fixed-Wing UAV for ISR and Infrastructure Mapping
Technical specifications
Technical overview
The Drones Latam Fixed Wing is the long-range fixed-wing UAV designed for ISR missions requiring surveillance persistence over a broad geographic area for extended periods — borders, pipelines, transmission power lines, and military operations zones — where multirotor UAVs have insufficient endurance and conventional helicopters are too costly and visible.
The push electric motor configuration (rear propeller) with low acoustic emission — 52 dB at 100 meters distance — allows the UAV to operate in covert surveillance missions without alerting the population or adversary forces in the area of operations. The 4-hour endurance at 75 km/h cruise with standard 1 kg payload, and 80 km range from the ground control station, allow covering corridors of up to 640 km² in a single mission without GCS repositioning.
The 2 kg modular payload bay accepts the Drones Latam high-resolution EO/IR kit (4K camera + FLIR 640×480), third-party synthetic aperture SAR sensors, multispectral sensor systems for agricultural and infrastructure applications, and communications repeaters to extend tactical radio network coverage in mountainous terrain. Deployment is by manual launch or standard elastic catapult, without the need for a runway — landing is executed in deployable parachute mode.
