Teledyne FLIR (formerly FLIR Systems, acquired by Teledyne in 2021) is the world's reference manufacturer in thermal infrared imaging cameras for defense, security, ISR and industrial applications. Its uncooled microbolometer detector technology and cooled InSb FPA is the industry standard for passive night vision systems, target recognition and perimeter surveillance in total darkness, smoke, fog and camouflage conditions.

The defense and ISR product family includes: the Boson module (small, lightweight, integrated in Class I–III UAVs and helmet-mounted weapon systems); the Tau 2 (640×512 resolution, integrated in gimbals and turret cameras for UAV and vehicle platforms); the SkyWatch Vu (360° motorized field surveillance camera); and the FLIR HRC (Human Recognition Camera) night vision system for long-distance recognition at critical perimeters.

For Peru, Teledyne FLIR addresses three critical needs: (1) Nocturnal imagery for VRAEM and border operations — thermal cameras on UAVs and vehicles detecting human presence in total darkness, smoke and dense brush without active illumination; (2) Critical infrastructure perimeter surveillance — Camisea facilities, ports, airports and power plants with long-range thermal cameras integrated to VMS; (3) Helmet and weapon-mounted systems for special forces nocturnal operations — Boson modules integrated in helmets and short weapons.
